This painting tells the story of one who has been through a lot of challenges in life as represented by her hair and her left hand behind the clouds, but from all these challenges grew strength, wisdom, empathy, focus, and although she has been written of by the society, her experiences have transformed her into a fruitful vine that now has the capacity to effect change in the world. This painting was largely inspired by Isaiah 61:3.
